SolarWorld, headquartered in Germany, has announced it’s plan to develop modules integrated with Enphase microinverters requiring no separate inverter. The two companies look to expand their global partnership, and are convinced this panel will meet a huge demand for high performance modules.
SolarWorld’s US VP of sales, Ardes Johnson stated, “Past attempts at AC modules, essentially power-electronic units bolted on to modules, have not delivered the full value that such an innovation should provide. With Enphase, we are developing a highly integrated module built in automated, high-reliability factory conditions.”
